The tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Cairo at 7AM and heads out of the city across the surrounding desert landscapes. The first stop of the day is the stunning Bahariya Oasis, which was once the agricultural center during Pharaonic times but is now famous for its abundance of dates and olives. Explore the oasis with your guide and admire the sprawling landscape of shady palms and natural springs.

After lunch visit the Black Desert, a fascinating landscape with rugged mountain-like domes that contrast against the sandy surroundings. Next, visit the nearby Agabat, a beautiful valley with imposing white cliff faces and yellow limestone rocks. Follow on to the Crystal Mountain, an incredibly unique formation made entirely of calcite crystal that sparkles and shimmers under the Egyptian sun.

Head over to the White Desert next, named for its sprawling white sandy landscape that stretches across the horizon. Climb a number of sand dunes and marvel at the jaw-dropping views that seem to go on forever. As evening draws near, your Bedouin guide will setup camp and prepare a delicious dinner. Enjoy the camp fire, or go for a night stroll before you either sleep under the stars or in a tent. (Sleeping bags can be provided upon request but we always make sure that there is an abundance of blankets in any case).

After watching the sun rise in the morning, you will kick start your day with breakfast at the campsite. Afterwards, set off to the Bahariya Oasis to visit the Valley of the Golden Mummies, a large burial site in the Western Desert of Egypt and the Tomb of Bannantiu. Later you can visit the English House, the sand dunes, and the Salt Lake at Bawiti. You can also enjoy your lunch at the Bahariya Oasis, before making your way back to Cairo or Giza.
